Paint up the neighbourhood when it's needed: Philly Painting

Haas & Urhahn, well known for their favela project in Brazil have published a book on their latest project 'Philly Painting'. Over 50 store fronts in the Germantown Ave in North Philadelphia were painted according to the design of local mural artists and Haas & Hahn themselves. Also the colors used we're inspired by colors found locally in North Philadelphia. More than 50.000 square feet has been colored in this special project at an unprecendented scale. A similar project by the Spanish Boa Mistura was featured in Color Objects last year.

You can purchase the book on the project, featuring photo's of the Germantown Avenue's new look at the Philly Painting website
