Would you like to work in this white office? No? Have a closer look... Penson interior designers (www.pensongroup.com) have been assigned by Google for the interior design of several of their offices. The Buckingham Palace Road office, where Google engineer's are located, is the first release of the new look. It's like a space ship almost, Penson describes it as 'a starship enterprise-come-space module-come space-city affair'. The good side is, it's not the common white or grey you often see in spaceships, or offices.
Penson has moved away from the primary colors known from the Google logo, to acchieve a more sophisticated yet space-like look.The colors help navigate through the office, it becomes more intuitive: for example orange is used for the workstations, and blue for sit-in corners.
Not all the colors used as striking as some of the examples above. The Penson designers have als applied softer and more subtle tones.
