Batchelor Exhibition in The Hague

Starting may 26th, there will be an exhibition of David Batchelor's work in the Gemeente Museum Den Haag. David uses common artefacts to create a color experience for modern city life. Since 1993, color has played and important role in his art, when he found that color is an interesting part of an artwork. In his sculptures, the colors are contrasted by the raw, rough and dark marterials. And since 1995 he has also started using more colors in his paintings and drawings.

The exhibition lasts until september 9th. For more information see Gem.
