Simplicity is key for Fabrice le Nezet, an artist/designer/director based in London. In his ‘Measure’ project he aimed to express weight and tension in the simplest way possible, with pure materials such as concrete blocks and metal structures carrying the weight. It’s as simple as that.

Colors we’re added to increase the contrast between the concrete and the metal support structures, and after some experimentation he found the right colors for the project. Bright highly saturated colors worked best to show the stress the metal structures are under. And Fabrice choose the three RGB colors (red, green and blue) as that fitted the need for simplicity most.
