But you still want the uplifting effect that bright colors like yellow can give? Choosing the right color combination for a bright and lively home can be difficult. Studio Widawscy knows how not to overstep the fine line between stylish and childish. This apartment designed by Studio Widawsky in Warsaw is a good example. This open and light space which is the living area where different activities such as relaxing, entertaining, cooking and eating can merge in the same bright and uplifting space. Adding yellow elements to mainly white and wood colored space gives an uplifting feel, and the blue and grey furniture elements are a calming addition, balancing yellow’s liveliness.

The other rooms have other functions, and that shows in the colors used. The calm bedroom with slight red and purple accents, the active children’s room with blue and green as settling colors, and the soothing green for the bathroom.
