The Art Loop public art initiave commissioned a massive temporary installation to be made, interventing in down town Chicago, called Color Jam. It’s the largest public artwork in Chicago history, covering the intersection of State Street and Adams Street within the Chicago Loop. The Chicago Loop Alliance commissioned Jessica Stockholder to create the work. Color Jam covered the buildings in vinyl (over 76.000 square feet of it!). It works as an attractor, inviting visitors to participate in events being held within the Chicago Loop throughout the summer.
