Jeannine Platz has made a series of paintings, Hafen Memory, showing the different looks of Hamburg Harbour.
Some of the works were made in collaboration with photographer Georges Pauly, such as Rigoletto shown above. In some paintings she’s added calligraphy, another specialisation besides paintings. Jeannine unconventionally paints with her fingers, and a putty knife.
Jeannine explores the Hamburg harbour for inspiration, without a preconceived idea of what colors to use for the piece.
